28 January 2013 - "The Call"

Travis received his "Call" on January 28th, 2013 in Provo, Utah while attending Brigham Young University.  He had begun to wonder if it was going to come or not as others he knew that had sent their papers in the same day had received their "Calls" already.  When his "Call finally came, it was double postmarked and had been returned to Salt Lake City, Church Headquarters for some reason and then sent out again.  Non the less, he was very happy and excited to receive it.  He received an email in the late afternoon from the BYU post office telling him they had it at the Central office for him to pick up.  After he finished all his classes, Travis stopped by and picked it up on his way back to his dorm.  The plan was to open it via "google group" so we could witness him opening it.  Kara, Kyoshi, Kyle, Erin, Tucker Bloomfield and several other friends all gathered at Travis's Dorm to watch him open it.  The rest of the family was in Calif. glued to the computer.  Once everyone had arrived and was settled, Travis opened his call.  Here is a video Olivia took with her Ipod of him opening it.  She is actually taking a video of the Ipad screen at our home in Calif., so it is not the best, but you can get the idea.
